At the end of the day, companies aim to reach new people and even make new e-commerce sales in order to maintain their presence in all types of Instagram posts and because they know that Instagram is a growing and interacting community .

It only takes a little effort to make these!

Part 1
Marketing on Instagram: Preface to the Guide

When Instagram was new to the scene in 2010, Instagram was not much different from other social media platforms: like any other social media, it was filled with selfies, pictures of animals and food.

Let’s fast-wind Instagram from then to 2019, check this out! Instagram, which used to be only a photo sharing platform, has now almost become a completely online marketing channel.

Just take a look at what’s been added or continues to be added to some platforms! If we look at the last year alone, Instagram has released so many new tools for commerce business, such as advanced analytics, purchasable Instagram posts, Instagram stories that can drive Instagram traffic, and IGTV, their new standalone video platform.

Whether you work in e-commerce, education, or media and sharing, showing your presence on Instagram will definitely give you positive feedback. But if you really want to stand out in your position, first of all, you need to know the platform you use (and the audience you want to reach) internally and externally. You need to know what types of content shared with them generate the most resonance, how to set up Instagram stories sharing strategies, and how you can track your metric and KPI.

This is the guide you’re reading right here, so that’s where we step in. In the 16 chapters you will read:

  • Fundamentals of versatile Instagram marketing strategies
  • Ways to create an effective Instagram profile
  • How to make your first Instagram marketing campaign effective and run
  • Instagram analytics inputs and outputs

Part 2
Why Instagram Marketing is Necessary for Ecommerce Success

We know that Instagram is a really good platform to share our photos and videos that we take with our family and friends. But at the same time, we should know that it is a very important platform for e-commerce, marketing. But why is this so?

Actually, the obvious reason for this is the format Instagram uses. This is a part of its visual nature, Instagram has a great opportunity to be a showcase of the products produced by e-commerce companies or in their hands.

Along with shared normal photos, videos or Instagram stories, millions of companies are aware that having a visual presence on Instagram will make a huge contribution to their e-commerce marketing.

There is a fact that Instagram users have users who are more addicted than the average of people who use other social media tools.

Although trends show us that Instagram addiction is declining (we’ll talk about this in the next section), users of this platform still have a more connected flow of commerce than users of Twitter and Facebook platforms.

But the thing is, Instagram users have more than a simple addiction—they often also make purchases online.

According to a recent study, 72% of Instagram users say that they have seen the product they are going to buy on Instagram before as their reason for purchasing online. The products they see are usually things like clothing, makeup, shoes and jewelry, which are very popular categories.

This shopping mentality makes Instagram users the perfect audience because their purchase intentions are huge and volatile.

Another reason why Instagram marketing is such a good tool for e-commerce is that they even advertise their own on their own platform. As I said in the previous section, Instagram has introduced tons of new commerce-oriented tools around this time, and it’s clear that more of these tools will continue to come.

It looks like many of our online shopping experiences will soon begin and end on Instagram via Instagram stories or purchasable insagram links.

I have said all this, but it would be wrong to think that you will not be able to work on Instagram because you do not sell e-commerce products.

Apart from the extraordinary ability of this Instagram to promote and sell your products, Instagram has become a very good platform for raising awareness and reaching new audiences, followers (and potential customers).

Of course, if you want to create an Instagram marketing strategy that truly appeals to your target audience, you must first understand how the Instagram algorithm works. We’ll talk about that in the next section anyway.

Part 3
Instagram’s Algorithm

Ah, the always mysterious Instagram algorithm. When Instagram first announced in 2016 that they were replacing the chronological feed with the algorithm, most people didn’t take it too well… Not much has changed since then.

So why did Instagram suddenly turn from a chronological system to an algorithm?

It was all about the audience, of course. As the number of users of Instagram increased, the system of Instagram began to have difficulties in sharing photos and videos. And as Instagram explained, 70% of its users lost their shares or information due to the chronological system.

In the light of this situation, as a result, Instagram developed and started to use an algorithm to reorganize the information of its users. In theory, this was an algorithm aimed at allowing users to see more content related to them.

Unfortunately, this change also had undesirable consequences and effects.

In the chronological system, the data did not need to be used in a predictive way to show the content that the user might like (You should definitely start thinking about this.

Because you wouldn’t be able to reach your followers or future customers), Algorithm-based data had the bad feature of being affected by tons of different factors, for example, these estimates could change depending on the number of people your post reached or the time spent looking at your post.

Due to situations like these, Instagram is still updating its algorithms to improve user experiences and customize certain types of content, so it is increasingly difficult to know how to optimize your posts so that they reach more users, interacting with them.

But this is not impossible of course.

Last year, Instagram finally started providing records of how its algorithms work, including the Instagram algorithm that shows what factors a post you share will perform (as well as how many people on average will see it). Here are the areas we have listed below, competing areas while trying to appear important to the algorithm:

1. Attract attention

Here’s how much attention you should pay to a shared post according to Instagram’s algorithm.

If the Instagram algorithm starts to think you like the post you’re looking at, you’ll start seeing more of that type of posts or similar posts on your page. This is based on the name “Past behavior for similar content and potential machine vision analyzing the actual content of the post,” according to Instagram.

Think of it like Instagram’s discovery page: if you like a video that will make you laugh, your entire discover page will be filled with posts that will make you laugh or smile. This way, Instagram will be able to predict whether you like these types of posts or not.

2. Using Timelines

How long ago was a photo or a video shared? The new Instagram algorithm will customize recent posts so they hope you don’t see or see very few posts that are a week old or older.

While the post doesn’t come back chronologically by any means, Instagram is starting to deal with a lot more when you post, rather than just the content or engagement.

This was confirmed by Instagram towards the end of 2017. Instagram reported that they will try to prevent old posts from appearing on people’s discover pages.

3. Relationship-Building Relevance

As a result, companies need to be aware that their audience is most active on Instagram, so they need to optimize the shared posts so that they appear on the discover pages of that audience.

How do you think the accounts that you discover can achieve this? If you occasionally comment on a photo of someone you know or another account, or are tagged in another photo with those people, these people will think that you are in the ‘Family and Friends’ category thanks to Instagram’s algorithm. As a result, you start to see more posts or content like this.

These are very good innovations for companies and commercial purposes, because in this way, they are to keep their posts in the minds of people, so that they do not forget themselves. Just tell your followers to tag you in their posts and don’t forget to optimize your account, posts and stories for Instagram, it’s also very important to get as many comments as you can on each post, remember that.

4. Establishing the Frequency-Repetition Time

How often do you open and use the Instagram application? If you are a regular user, your data, your page will start to look more “chronological”. This is because Instagram is trying to show you “the best posts since you last logged in”.

5. Follower

If you start visiting the Instagram app less often, you’ll start seeing more of the content Instagram thinks you like, rather than your discover page in chronological order.

How many people and accounts do you follow on Instagram? If you have a lot of pages you follow, Instagram has a lot more options to offer, so you probably won’t be able to see every single post of every single page you follow (meaning there will be occasional losses).

6. Usage

If you start spending more time on Instagram, you’ll probably start seeing more posts as a result of Instagram’s “deepening into your own catalog”.

If you don’t use Instagram for more than a few minutes a day, the algorithm will only start showing you the posts it thinks are the best.

Chapter 4
Set Goals And Goals

Well, now that you know more or less how Instagram’s algorithm works, we can start talking about how you should set your goals and objectives before you start marketing on Instagram.

Of course, the criteria for determining your goals and objectives before you start marketing on Instagram depends a little bit on what you think of “success”, what it means to you.

Are you using Instagram to build brand awareness and reach more of your ideal customers? Or to promote your products and services? To grow an addicted, connected community? To increase the number of audience loyal to your brand?

Would you use Instagram as a tool to properly serve your customers? Will you use and trust it to inform your followers about your business or industry?

There are many possibilities when it comes to using Instagram to achieve your business goals and depending on how you use it. Note that the goals you set will greatly affect the metrics you use to track your success on Instagram (something we’ll discuss in a later section).

For example, if you’re using Instagram to build a large and engaging audience, it becomes more important to focus on engagement metrics like likes, comments, and shares.

If you’re having trouble deciding on the goals of the account to use, the following questions may help you understand what you need to consider more:

  • How or what can Instagram support you in achieving your overall marketing goals?
  • Why are you using Instagram?
  • How much time or budget can you devote to Instagram?
  • How do you think Instagram offers something different compared to other platforms?

SECTION 4-1
Finding Your Target Audience on Instagram

After determining why you use Instagram, you need to start thinking about who you will use Instagram to reach and what your goal is.

If you already have a good idea of who your ideal customer is, a good strategy is to attract the attention of these customer profiles (or “persona”) and calculate the data from this interest on Instagram (for example, how many people you follow on your profile and how many are followed). written that you are).

What kind of content are users interested in? Which communities are these users part of? What kind of hastags do they use?  Answering these questions is a great way to make sure it reaches or will reach your target audience on Instagram.

If you’re still having trouble, another option is to research the competitors you’re competing against.

Go to your competitors’ profiles and click “Followers”.

You will be able to see the list of users who follow them. (Note: I don’t recommend that you go through this list and follow each and every one. Instead, you should use this information to create a strategy to naturally catch their attention).

You can also use this strategy to see what hashtags your competitors are using to gather these audiences. Instagram hashtags are still seen as one of the best ways to reach followers, followers on Instagram, especially now that you can follow Instagram hashtags just like you can follow other users.

When researching relevant hashtags, try to micro-path as much as possible. There’s a good chance you’ll find some ultra-niche hashtags that are intertwined with your target audience’s activity.

SECTION 4-2
Implement Your Own Instagram Audit

Keeping your goals and audience in mind, your next step is to take a constructive, critical look at your Instagram profile by performing an Instagram data audit.

By doing this, you take a critical look at and analyze everything you’ve done on the platform so far, and then decide if it still fits the company’s needs. (Even if you’re new to Instagram marketing, a data audit is a great opportunity to make sure you’re on the right track.)

Every element of your Instagram profile, whether it’s your profile photo, your profile description, your posts, your captions, your hashtags, and more, should feel purposefully made.

Even the accounts you currently follow become part of your brand on Instagram. Do you find those pages you follow inspiring? Is it compatible with your business? Or are they completely random and unlinked pages?

Do not neglect to keep these goals in mind, remember that you control your Instagram account and everything you do, every decision you make should make you take more action steps towards this goal.

After you finish your account audit on Instagram:

  • Determined its commercial tasks and goals with Instagram
  • You have understood your own brand and the tone of voice you will make for your brand.
  • Determined the aesthetics of the content you prepared or had it prepared
  • Evaluated your current customer attracting strategy
  • You need to have processed the Hashtag strategy you will use.

Chapter 5
Creating the Profile of Your Company Account on Instagram

“Should I change my profile to a business profile on Instagram?” It is a question that comes to everyone’s mind from time to time.

In fact, the answer was clear in 2017, Instagram gave companies a few important reasons to convert their profiles to business profiles, ie commercial profiles, this year, we can now name Instagram stories and share links on these stories or add links directly to the story, as well as shoppable Instagram posts. and automatic sharing features have also arrived.

For companies that are on Instagram these days and have a clear marketing goal, turning their profiles into business profiles is arguably more beneficial.

So, are you ready to turn your profile into a business profile? Here we show you how to do that:

 1. Create A Facebook Page For Your Company Or Business

Before you can open a company, a business profile on Instagram, you must have an active facebook page. Lucky for you, turning a facebook page into a business page is easier than you think and takes less than a minute! If you already have a facebook page, you can skip this step and start reading the next section directly.

Let’s start by logging into your Facebook account. Click the downward facing arrow next to the Help button and a downward menu will open. From there, hit the “create a page” option.

Next, choose your business category and give a name to the page you will create. The name you choose can be the direct name of your company or business, or you can guess how people will call your company or job and give it a name accordingly.

Add a profile photo and background to the page you created that will present you in the best way possible.

And that’s it! Now your Facebook page is ready and online!

Remember that it’s a good idea to spruce up your Facebook Business Page before linking your Instagram Business profile. At the very least, you should place a description on your page or direct them to your page by making a call-to-action application for your followers, for example telling them to visit your website or calling your company.

2. Link Your Facebook Page With Your Instagram Profile

To convert your profile on Instagram to a business profile or a business profile, first log into your Instagram account and enter your profile.

Then you will see a gear icon in the top right corner of your profile, click on it.

Press “switch to business profile” in the menu that opens and connect your facebook page with your Instagram page by pressing continue.

Make sure to check that your profile is set to public view! If your Instagram profile is in private profile mode, Instagram will not allow you to change this profile to a commercial profile.

Link your facbook page with your Instagram profile by clicking on the “continue with …” option. If you don’t see your business’s facebook page as an option, you need to make sure you’ve listed your facebook page as an administrator by re-entering the settings menu.

After completing the Facebook job, select facebook in the “Continue with …” option and press the “continue” button.

3. Set Your Business Profile On Instagram

You will then be asked to add your contact information, including a phone number, a physical address, or an email address so customers can contact you.

When you think everything looks fine, you should hit the “finish” button.

That’s it! Now that you have a commercial profile on Instagram, you will now have access to many innovations such as the ability to see the insight of your Instagram profile on Instagram and the ability to choose what you want to show priority among the posts you share, and you can do this from just one application.

Part 6
Optimize Instagram Profile

Now that you’ve adjusted your Instagram profile, it’s time to decide how you want your profile to look like.

As we’ve said many times before, you should know that your Instagram profile is a reflection of the brand you’re working for, which is why workplaces are spending more time on how their profile looks visually rather than planning these days.

Every time someone starts looking at your profile, you only have a few seconds to get them to follow you, and sometimes it just has to be with a quick glance or a quick page scroll.

That’s why improving the look and feel of your Instagram profile is so important! An image that is focused on images and can attract people instantly is one of the best ways to get more followers.

There is good news about this from Instagram: The feature of scheduling your Instagram posts has been introduced, you can now actively design the plan for the post and the appearance of the post before you share it.

Here are the places you should focus to make a great first impression:

Chapter 6-1
Create a Smooth-Consistent Instagram Aesthetic, Look

One of the hardest parts to make Instagram posts look great is solving how to show each photo you share next to each other, separately, in an individual and noticeable way.

Let’s go ahead of this situation and imagine that you shared a photo, let’s review your Instagram page after this photo you shared: how did all the photos you shared happen to each other and where they stood? Here are five tips for that.

1. Choose a color scheme

It is very important to choose a specific color scheme for an Instagram profile and edit the profile accordingly. This means that all the colors on your page come together seamlessly and do not dominate each other. This can be a warm and friendly page, or it can be a dark and cold page, or a bright and colorful page.

No matter how you look at this business, having a consistent color palette is a great way to add your brand to your Instagram page.

2. Focus on lighting, contrast

Light is seen as one of the basic building blocks of curiosity and aesthetics in such cases. Think of a luxury magazine that you love to read. What do you think might be the reason why colors, themes and lighting are connected before giving importance to the content? The consistency between these factors creates the main materials for the aesthetics of your Instagram page.

3. Empty your content

This is probably the hardest part of achieving a great Instagram aesthetic. To do this, you need to know where to put each of your photos and how to collate and plan your posts.

The goal is to create a depth of field like you do in photography. Basically you want to get a better or lesser mix of photos with a dense photo and get a better balance.

4. Take care that everything is consistent with each other

If you want your publication to progress naturally, you must first be consistent while editing your photos. This does not mean that you have to use only one filter, what is meant here is that if you limit yourself a little about the filter, this limitation will allow you to proceed in accordance with the aesthetic you have chosen.

Prefer tones that feel warmer? Or pictures with cooler colors? Regardless of your editing style, it will be enough to make sure that it is consistent with the other posts on your page. In fact, if you make the same touches to each of your photos and use the same filters in each photo, this will make your brand look more ‘receiving’ than other brands. Because all the work you do, all the posts you publish seem consistent between each other.

5. Curated with User Generated Content (UGC)

While more businesses than ever are investing in original content, incorporating user-generated content (UGC) into your Instagram strategy still has a lot to gain.

When choosing photos to post to your account, keep in mind that it’s important to be in harmony with your theme and aesthetic. You’ll want to choose photos that have a natural fit and a color scheme and editing style similar to your own page. When someone is looking at your Instagram feed, it’s not clear which posts are yours and which photos are UGC curated by you (curated means the bridge between artist and viewer).

Promote Your Brand to People Using Highlighted Instagram Stories

We’ll talk about Instagram stories in the next section, but we might be in trouble if we don’t know how great of a highlight Instagram stories are for attracting potential followers to your profile.

You can think of highlight Instagram stories as, for example, a movie trailer that landed on your page. Instagram stories are one of the obvious ways to show yourself creatively, whether it’s promoting products, traffic, or marketing your business.

It would be a good strategy to put the ones you want to highlight among all the stories you share in the ‘highlights’ section, likewise do this within categories, events or topics so that your audience can find the specific content they want right away.

Give them that advantage.

As an example of this, we can give the page @anthropologie as an example for this. This fashion and lifestyle brand regularly updates and updates its pages, highlighting their Instagram stories (that is, adding the stories to their highlights), showing their latest products and offers, for example seasonal collections and new arrivals, or posts or promotions about sales. they show.

After all, highlighting Instagram stories is an excellent way to attract new followers. With highlights, you can promote what you do in your own business, show what you have to offer, and give people good reasons to follow you.

In addition, with the optimization you will make in highlighting your Instagram stories, you can start making your sales directly from your Instagram profile and you can start selling your product even to users who do not even follow you!

Chapter 6-3
Make Your Profile Description On Instagram Standout

Your profile description on Instagram is one of the most underused innovations on Instagram, it should be one, after all. But this is actually very important! Trying to get people to know with an explanation of why people should follow you and shop with you is quite difficult.

Here are 6 tips to make it easy and optimize your profile accordingly:

1. Use your name

One of the best ways to create a good profile description would be to use your own name, but I mean really your name! (I mean the name on your profile instead of the name! It’s not your Instagram username!).

People who will search for you on Instagram will be looking for your name, not your username! Therefore, it would be good to use the name of your company in the description so that people who visit your profile see your company name in your profile description after they enter your profile, so that they can understand that they have not logged into a wrong account. Because you know that there are many fraudsters these days…

This is a little obvious, but there is a much bigger reason behind our saying: According to the Instagram algorithm, it doesn’t look for anything other than your page’s name and username in searches.

In other words, this makes the importance of using your name in opening your profile on Instagram much more important. Users visiting the profile should know that you are the page or brand they are looking for!

2. Your Username and Hashtag Links

Thanks to the update that came in early 2018, you can turn your profile’s username and hashtags into clickable hyperlinks with the help of profile descriptions. People can click on links whenever they want without much hassle!

Whenever you use the “#” or “@” symbols in your profile description, the words after these symbols will automatically start working as clickable links and guide incoming followers to go to your hashtags or another profile.

By adding hashtags to your Instagram profile, your profile followers will be able to see most of your content one by one with a single click. Using branded Hashtags or hashtags that you add based on your own curiosity and interest will make your profile description more functional and will allow you to highlight and share branded content and show your profile visitors more about your interest.

NOTE: Adding hashtags to bio(profile description) will not make your profile searchable within that hashtag, so it’s best to use your own branding in your profile. That way, you don’t waste valuable character space in your bio by listing hashtags that won’t actually drive you traffic!

3. State your abilities

A good Instagram profile description is one that properly describes the job done. So if you want to attract attention with a different talent, expertise, hobby or interest, you should say all of these in your profile description!

Think about the things that will make the difference between you and the companies you compete with. Do you have unique talents that might catch the attention of your followers? Or can you give them a different experience by attracting their attention?

Not only will you include them in your Instagram bio, which will be a bit of an introduction to new viewers, but it can also determine whether or not they follow you.

4. Keywords

Using keywords won’t improve your searchability on Instagram (of course, this doesn’t include using your ‘name’ in your profile description, which I mentioned earlier) but it does give your account more focus and helps you reach account owners who follow you and want to see more of your posts and content. provides.

When choosing which keywords to use on your Instagram profile, you should do this by considering both your core values and the core values of your target audience.

If you are using Instagram for commercial purposes, you should first spend some time creating the profile of your ideal follower yourself. What are the points that bother or interest them? And which keywords you will choose accordingly will resonate more with the target audience?

Using keywords that target your audience and niche will help users better understand who you are, what you have to offer, and whether your account is relevant to them!

5. Your Website Link

Compared to other social media platforms, Instagram is a very strict platform on where to put your links and where you should put them. For now Instagram only allows users to put links in their profile descriptions, this is where we’ve been talking about this whole time, your bio.

Most companies on Instagram use links to direct followers to their website or blog, which is a great way! But e-commerce business owners aim to direct their followers to specific product sites, campaigns or webinars, the lack of decent websites is a bit of a nuisance.

In order to overcome this restriction, some companies constantly update their descriptions on their Instagram profiles, placing a new product or a link to a promotion they just launched, and they do this by referring to their Instagram profile descriptions. The main reason they do this is because the way Instagram displays photos is no longer in chronological order. As a result, companies always write things like ‘link in our profile description’ or ‘link in bio’ in their posts, and due to the constant changes they make in the profile descriptions of companies, the link you see in their post and you want to go to may not be the link they put in their profile descriptions every time.

After giving you the chance to write only 1 clickable link in your profile description, Instagram introduced a new type of shoppable feed called Linkin.bio, which makes it extremely easy to direct your target audience to your online store.

Along with Linkin.bio, now Instagram has made it possible to add links to any of the Instagram posts you publish later, which helps direct your audience to the right content or products on your site. In addition, it offers the opportunity to put more than one link and website without changing the link in your profile description.

Whenever a follower clicks on the link in your profile description, this link directs them to a mobile-optimized homepage, and this homepage consists of images like your Instagram profile, and these images are clickable, just like on Instagram!

6. Your Content Knowledge

As we mentioned in the previous section, when you switch to an Instagram business profile, you can create a “Contact” button at the top of your profile with the option to add forwarding, phone number and/or an email address.

This feature is very useful for businesses. This will give your followers the opportunity to reach you from somewhere other than Instagram, or if your company has an office, that is, a physical location, you can see it as a great way to increase your sales in your office.

Take an Audit on Your Instagram Account

If you have completely done the steps I mentioned before, what you need to do next is to take a constructive look at your Instagram profile and perform an audit on your profile.

By doing this you’ll take a critical look at everything you’ve done on your Profile from the start, analyze them, and decide if they still meet what your job demands. (Even if you’re new to Instagram marketing, auditing is a great opportunity to make sure you’re on the right track).

Every single item on your Instagram profile should feel like it was put on purpose, including your profile photo, profile description, captions you use, and more.

Chapter 7
Developing a Content Sharing Strategy on Instagram

Having a great looking Instagram profile is critical these days, it’s not a good idea to just review your individual posts! Currently, Instagram allows you to post four types of posts. These types are: photo, video, shopping posts and ‘carousel posts’, which are sponsored ads that appear on users’ discover pages (carousel posts in Turkish. This name is given because they can repeat themselves regularly according to what people share and like). Here we have covered each of them one by one.

Photo Posts

Instagram’s photo posts still remain the platform’s most popular content form, and it still is because photos are a versatile tool that is the simplest to modify and create.

Currently, you can only share your photos in landscape, portrait or square format. These different formats require different aspect ratios and sizes; for example, square photo posts should have an aspect ratio of 1:1 (or as close as possible!) and 1080px by 1080px.

Here is a document showing the appropriate sizes for any type of photo you can put in:

Video Posts

Instagram’s video posts have evolved a bit since it was introduced in 2013.

Videos are no longer limited to 15 seconds, and today’s companies can create longer and costly videos for up to 1 minute and provide tons of interaction with Instagram users!

And the best part is that you don’t need a DSLR camera or expensive video production equipment to do it. Now you can make gorgeous branded videos with just those tiny cameras embedded inside your phone and using just a few apps!

Videos aren’t as popular as photos, video posts on Instagram are shared with the goal of generating loads of engagement, so it makes sense to use videos in your marketing mix.

On top of that, videos tend to be the best format for selling, with their ability to link complex stories with each other. This is the main reason why many companies do research on advertising that can be promoted, popular.

Another good news is that you can now use Instagram’s automatic scheduling and sharing system for videos, it automatically does the sharing process when you want to share the video you want to post! Just upload your video to Instagram, choose the day and time you want the video to be shared, then wait, Instagram will automatically share your video on the date and time you set! Isn’t it a very useful innovation? Imagine that you did this according to the ‘World-wide Instagram users hours most online’ table above.

Shopping Posts

While there are many different ways for brands (especially e-commerce brands) to incorporate sales opportunities into their Instagram marketing strategies, having Instagram shopping spots on our page is definitely a feature you want to take advantage of!

To summarize, Instagram shopping posts make it easier for Instagram users to buy products they find on Instagram, thanks to products tagged in the posts.

Whenever your purchasable posts appear on your followers’ pages, they just need to click on the shopping bag to get these products or get more information about the product.

If a user clicks on the description box, these users are directed to a URL where they can get information about the product they are looking at and/or buy that product.

For brands and companies, using Instagram shopping posts is a great way to promote their products and use their Instagram profiles and accounts to sell more products.

Caraousel Posts(Carousel Posts)

Carousel posts were introduced in mid-2017, and this type of advertising has become companies’ favorites for things like promoting their new products or driving sales, and even sharing photos and videos of their events.

The main reason why carousel posts are like this is because, just like Instagram videos, this type of post is more versatile than a single photo. And you can also include both your photos and videos in carousel ads, so it’s a great place to get creative. You also have the option to send carousel posts as a landscape, portrait or square format. These posts allow you to put between two and ten photos or videos.

If you want to learn more about Instagram ads, do n’t forget to read our Instagram Ad Prices and Price Factors article!

Chapter 7
How to See Results of Instagram Carousel Posts

Since last year, when the carousel posts were published, businesses of all sizes have taken to the carousel trend and discovered new and creative ways to incorporate them into their Instagram marketing strategy.

Here are three tips that will make a great use of carousel posts for your business:

1. Launching a new product line

Whenever you start a new product, such as a new jeans or a new skincare product, the ability to share several of your products in a single post is a great way to draw attention to your products and drive the sale that is your main goal.

Including both photos and videos in your carousel post would be a great strategy for this. For example, you can guide this product by making a video showing that your product is in action, that is, in effect, and you can promote this product better by putting two or three photos of this product in the content of the product mentioned in the same post with this video.

2. Share photos and videos from your activities

Regular Instagrammers do this all the time, but showing off by sharing photos and videos of your activities using carousel posts is also a very good business strategy on Instagram.

It really is. The ability to share many photos and videos that show the energy and atmosphere of the event, in a single post, will be much more advantageous than showing such photos to your followers by spamming them (i.e. annoying).

It’s a great way to thank the people who attended your event by tagging them to a photo and reminding them of their thoughts on the event, and of course it’s also a good way for people who missed your event. This is perfect for creating a FOMO at your next event.

3. Before and after sequences of introduction

This concept, made for Instagram’s carousel posts, is a slightly more specific concept. But you’ll see a lot of practice with Before and after sequences! For example, sharing real-life before and after sequences of your product.

To create before and after series using the Instagram carousel posts, you just need to select the photos and videos to share in a certain order, write an Instagram caption that will connect people, and share the post. And you even have the chance to share multiple before and after sequences in a single carousel post!

Chapter 7-2
How to Use Instagram Videos for Commercial Purposes

There really is no limit to what you can do with Instagram video posts, which is exactly why videos have become one of the common themes on our discover page!

However, it’s a good idea to keep a specific goal in mind, such as conveying your brand message, promoting your products, or promoting your company culture. Here are a few examples of successful video broadcasts:

Support Your Products

Videos are a very valuable service for companies to sell their products, as videos have the ability to convey tons of information in a very short time.

Just think, how big a difference would it be between trying to promote your product with a photo and promoting your product with a one-minute video, right?

Additionally, according to Hubspot, 64% of consumers are more likely to make their purchase after watching online video about the product. So, sharing a video on Instagram as a post and showing your product to users with this video is a really good way to increase ROI (Return of investment)!

Build credibility in your brand

Sharing Instagram videos that convey your brand message or promote your company culture is a great way to build trust with your followers and customers.

A good example of this comes from @foodora_ca. The food delivery service often shares cute video content that is relevant to their target market and adds value to their videos.

Educate your audience

Do you have a title where you can educate your audience? Could these be a makeup video or a delicious recipe? Whatever you focus on, producing and sharing short video content using Instagram video posts is a very good strategy.

The point of all of this is if you have a cool title that your audience can enjoy while learning, it would be a great strategy for you to implement it with video posts on Instagram.

Are you ready to start sharing your videos on Instagram by scheduling? With the next title, you can start timing your Instagram video posts, optimize the success rates of your videos with analytics, and do more and different things!

Now that you have learned how to share your videos on Instagram, we can start talking about optimizing these video posts to attract more attention.

Choose an eye-catching cover photo

In this world where interest and relevance are increasingly scarce, interacting with your followers with the help of video posts (especially long ones) can be very difficult. But one way you have a chance to increase interest is to choose a cover photo that will shine like a star.

Just like you spend time finding photos that look great on your Discover page, you need to spend a good amount of time finding a great cover photo for your video. Otherwise, all the hard work you put into creating your video will be wasted!

When choosing a cover photo, give your video a reason to stop and look at the content you’re sharing, especially when scrolling down the page with the main message in the place that contains the most heartwarming message of your video.

Don’t rely too much on Voice.

Instagram videos may be playing automatically on the discover page, but the sound of these videos does not turn on as the videos start playing, users need to touch the video so that they begin to hear the sound of the video.

To grab people’s attention in just a few seconds, your video needs to be clearly intelligible and memorable without sound!

That’s why your videos need to be as beautiful as the beautiful photos your followers see on your profile. Even if the viewer can’t quite feel the effect, you should be able to give them the story of your Instagram video, even without sound.

Focus on the first few seconds of your video

There are so many interesting things to see on Instagram, among which the content of the video you create is very important to grab people’s attention for three to five seconds.

If you focus on the first three to five seconds of your video and make those three to five seconds really good, you will complete your video better and increase engagement rates.

You need to find a video length that will suit your audience

The fact that you can share Instagram videos up to 60 seconds does not mean that you should make all the videos exactly 60 seconds, use the entire time. Like everything on social media, it is very difficult to keep your audience on a piece of content for a long time.

You should search for the most suitable time for your audience by putting videos of different lengths and looking at their analytics such as how long they are watched and how long they are watched. If you get better feedback on videos under 30 seconds, you should try to keep your video content short. If long videos get more views than short ones, stick with the longer ones.

Don’t forget to use third party software to edit your Instagram videos

There are tons of apps and software you can use to not only improve the quality of your videos, but also add branding to them, whether it’s a logo, font, or other design element .

Chapter 8
Instagram Stories for Companies

This is where things start to get a little more creative.

Since 2017, the year they took the stage, Instagram stories have become a must-have for your Instagram marketing strategies. By the way, according to the source ‘The State of Instagram Marketing 2018’, 64% of companies that market on Instagram stated that they plan to create much more Instagram stories in 2018.

So how can the amazing success of Instagram stories be explained? In fact, it’s just something that happened as a result of the increase in short-lived videos. They went on and on, and that’s why companies realized the value of short-lived videos and started producing short-lived video content, which was fun, carefree, and a little more commercial-oriented.

Here we will see how Instagram stories are used.

Section 8-1
How Often to Share Instagram Stories

Unlike Instagram’s regular posts statuses, Instagram won’t penalize you for sharing too many stories, it’s all about the ephemeral nature of Instagram stories.

Because Instagram stories only live for 24 hours (or if you put them in the highlights section, they will live forever), there is no pressure on Instagram to prioritize the stories of some profiles over the stories of other profiles. Of course, that doesn’t mean that your Instagram stories aren’t affected by Instagram’s new algorithm, of course, stories are also affected!

The only difference is that compared to the algorithm for videos or photos, the only difference is that the  frequency you post  doesn’t have much of an impact on how many people see your Instagram Stories.

That being said, if you post tons of stories every day, there’s a good chance some of your followers will mute your profile, which is not something we really want.

By this I am not trying to say that sharing Instagram stories a lot is a bad thing. Remember, it all depends on the content you produce and what your followers expect from you!

Some accounts may post over 10 posts per day, while for others it’s better to post a few per week.

Posting multiple stories on a daily basis is probably not good for your profile.

Sharing more than 10 Instagram stories can steal most of your time and weaken your management for that time. so if you think you could make the most of your time elsewhere, it’s probably best to just share it to a few stories a week and that will suffice!

Plus, if you’re constantly posting tons of stories, your followers will expect you to continue acting this way from now on.

At the end of the day, there really isn’t a “proper” frequency for stories, but it’s enough to have an audience looking forward to seeing you throughout the week before people get tired of your content.

Chapter 8-2 When to Post Instagram Stories

If we think about normal Instagram stories, the times when the followers are most active are determined and the stories are shared in these time intervals. But this is not the case for commercial use of Instagram stories.

Because Instagram stories will stay on your profile for a maximum of 24 hours (again, if the story is not put in Highlights, otherwise the stories will stay forever), which means that whenever you post a story, your followers have 24 hours to see them in their window on their page.

So even if you’re posting a story at a time when most of your followers are asleep, they’ll be able to find your story at the top of their feed when they wake up.

In other words, there’s no point in stressing too much about posting your Instagram Stories at the most convenient times… unless of course you’re looking for quick engagement, in which case posting your story during your most active hours will definitely help.

Chapter 8-3
What to Share on Instagram Stories

Just like regular posts, if you’re going to use an Instagram story for commercial purposes, it would be good for you to post a story that will be a mix of interesting, informative, and fun.

Instagram stories in general are a pretty casual thing, and the quality standard is even rather low compared to other regular posts. So I think you should not neglect to show a bit of your ridiculous part!

Another good thing about Instagram stories is that with them, very nice tools have been added to Instagram. You can be as creative as you want! The same goes for your promotional content on Instagram Stories. It’s easier to share promotional content that’s both fun and outspoken.

Whatever the case, it is most important for you to see the analytics of your Instagram stories and see what type of content you get the best feedback on and follow. As we mentioned before, if your Instagram stories have received a lot of views and engagement, this will send a signal to the Instagram algorithm that you produce good and quality content.

So by creating great Instagram story content that your followers will love, the stories you share in the future will have a higher chance of being seen by more people.

Chapter 8-4
Perfect Instagram Story Innovations for Commercial Use

Whenever it comes to using Instagram stories for commercial purposes and marketing on Instagram, there are a few innovations you can use to save a few bucks more. These:

1. location and hasttag stickers

Back in 2017, when Instagram was just introducing stickers, they were more fun than useful.

Since then, Instagram has added tons of new usage functions to these stickers, such as being able to see location-based stories on the explore page, and mostly searching for stories by location and hashtags.

We can say that these innovations have made a huge difference for companies. At first, you could only share your posts and Instagram stories with your followers, but with these innovations, their stories have become visible to everyone!

For example, if you are going to share a post in a restaurant from Atlanta, you can add your location to your story with the help of a sticker, and the story you shared can probably be shared on the Instagram story of the restaurant you shared!

The same goes for patient removals. If a user tags a hashtag in their Instagram story, that story will also appear on pages that match the hashtag tagged.

2. Clickable Links

Instagram recently rolled out the ability to add links to Instagram Stories. And that means quite a lot of interaction. In fact, with this, users found the opportunity to add other links to Instagram, apart from the links they put in their profile descriptions on Instagram for the first time.

It goes without saying that the ability to send your followers from your stories to specific landing pages is extremely useful for Instagram marketing. Whether it’s a product page or a new blog post, you can use this feature to drive Instagram traffic to any relevant landing page!

TIP: The “See More” call-to-action that appears in stories with clickable links is quite small and may not be easily noticed, so it’s a good idea to invoke it using text, arrows, or some other design feature.

3. Tag other accounts you have

We all know how effective Instagram contests are for interacting with people and gaining new followers, and we’ve seen another way to drive traffic to your contests with the ability to tag other accounts to Instagram stories.

Tagging a different account to your Instagram stories is also extremely useful for taking over or driving impressive campaigns.

4. Tag companies in your sponsored Instagram stories

Talking about influencers, Instagram’s new paid affiliate feature makes it super easy to tag businesses on your sponsored Instagram Stories!

Until now, only a handful of celebrities, influencers and a few companies have been given this feature, but I think this number will evolve into larger-scale numbers in the coming months.

5. Polls and emoji sliders

Have you ever wanted to research your Instagram audience about their interests, likes, dislikes and more? Well, now you can!

Instagram recently introduced the innovation of interactive poll stickers that allow you to ask questions in Instagram Stories and see what answer your followers voted for.

The best thing about survey tags is probably that they have so many commercial uses!

Whether you want to get backlinks on your products, learn about community-sourced ideas, or simply entertain your followers, they’ve given us a completely new way to interact with your Instagram audience using poll stickers.

6. Question stickers

Unlike poll stickers and emoji stickers, both of which allow users to “vote” on questions you post, whenever you put a question sticker on your Instagram story, other users send you the answer directly to your question.

Whether you want to learn about your products or learn about crowdsourced ideas, question stickers offer a whole new way for you to engage with your Instagram audience!

7. Countdown sticker

Now when you share a story about something upcoming (like an in-store sale, product launch, or event), you can add a tag that counts up to the date and time you set.

Your followers can then join your countdown event; When that time is up and your countdown is up, Instagram will send them a reminder, a notification!

Whether you want to promote a sale, event or something else entirely, the ability to share a countdown on your stories where your followers can get reminders is a great way to drive better results.

8. Gif stickers

In 2017, Instagram created a large and high-quality gif library that can be used in Instagram stories. You will now be able to put fun or impressive gifs on the photos and videos you share in your stories!

Adding GIFs to Instagram Stories is easy – tap the item to add a hashtag to a photo or video in Stories, and you’ll now see a new GIF option. Tap on this gif option and you’ll find a library of hundreds of thousands of animated stickers powered by GIPHY.

Consistently using this feature can add a ton of new users to your Instagram Stories and help you build a loyal following.

9. Instagram live video replays

Before the latest update, Instagram Live videos were not replayable or shareable after broadcast. This ‘limited viewing’ thing gave people a sense of needless urgency to get on the show. It has become a very valuable thing to be able to share your broadcast with people after the live broadcast. By the way, with this new update, Instagram live broadcast can become as big as Facebook live broadcast!

Once your Instagram live stream is over, you can share the replay. However, just like other photos and videos you share on Instagram Stories, live video replays will disappear after 24 hours.

10. Instagram stories Highlights

As we discussed in the previous section, Instagram stories Highlights are an extremely valuable plus to Instagram’s business profile; because it allows brands to easily curate and showcase the content they want users to see first.

Unlike regular Instagram Stories that disappear after 24 hours, Instagram Stories Highlights are curated clips, i.e. short videos or photos that reach people, that can be grouped by theme or topic and live permanently on their profile until they are deleted. These are located directly below our Instagram profile description and above the photo section of our Instagram profile. And when someone clicks on them they will see the standard stories that have been added here.

11. Sharing IGTV videos and Instagram posts

Did you know that you can also share IGTV and Instagram posts in stories?

Posts or IGTV videos shared on Instagram Stories display the original poster’s username, allowing users to browse the original post and be redirected to the original page where the post was posted:

With more and more users shifting their attention to Instagram Stories, users are using stories to cross-promote their posts and IGTV videos. Now, instead of adding a screenshot of their post to stories, users can easily share the post with the new resharing feature.

Chapter 8-5
How to Use Instagram Stories for Business

Using Instagram stories for businesses has now become an essential part of any Instagram marketing strategy, helping you engage with customers, engage customers, and show your products in action.

That being said, coming up with ideas for Instagram Stories and deciding what to write can be difficult. Do you need inspiration? Here are four ways businesses can use Business Stories for Instagram:

1. Promote Your Products and/or Services

The way Instagram stories naturally go with “touches” makes stories a great place to build anticipation around new products and/or services.

All you have to do is fill your story with photos of a single product from every angle, in different people, or in different settings, and then hit your followers with a promo code or call-to-action.

Adding links to Instagram Stories is a great place to do that.

2. Build a more engaged Community

As with regular posts, it’s fine to post a mix of fun, light and promotional content if you use Instagram stories for work.

Instagram stories are a pretty casual place, so don’t be afraid to post something silly: a short video of your office dog or a picture of your team for after-work drinks!

3. Get an Instagram Story and Run it

An easy way to import to your Instagram Stories is to receive Instagram Stories or invite someone to host your story.

Having regular guest segments is a great way to bring both variety and consistency to using Instagram Stories for business. To try it out with your own business: choose someone from your company for a “day in the life” story, or partner with other businesses in the industry to swap stories for the day. It will help change your content and keep more of your customers coming back.

Plan And Manage Instagram Stories For Businesses

Posting regularly to Instagram Stories is key to building an audience and increasing your views, and you can schedule your content on your calendar the same way you schedule other social posts.

Scheduling both your regular Instagram post content and your Instagram Stories will help keep things consistent and clear.

A great way to get started is to create a quick storyboard of your Instagram story and post it to make sure it flows. Do this by outlining the beginning, middle, and end of your story, making sure everything flows naturally, making sure it covers all the important points.

Chapter 9
How to Use Instagram Live Streams for Commercial Purposes

2017 may have been dominated by Instagram stories, but the future looks brighter for live videos. If you haven’t broadcast live yet, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with this feature soon. According to the latest survey, only 22% of businesses moved forward with “live” videos on Instagram in 2017, while 55% are scheduled to use the feature in 2018.

The idea of being “alive” on Instagram is understandably overwhelming for most businesses. While Instagram stories give you the option to share pre-recorded videos, there is no revert to Instagram livestream videos.

But the main thing is that Instagram’s live video feature is a very valuable feature for businesses. Used properly, this innovation acts as an incredible channel to gain new followers and engage with new users the higher your business goals.

This is especially true for Instagram’s live video feature, thanks to two new commercial-focused features:

Part 9-1
Share Your Posts On Your Instagram Stories

As we said in the previous section, thanks to the latest update, live videos on Instagram can now be shared on Instagram stories.

When the live broadcast you opened on Instagram ends, you will see a “Share” button at the bottom of the screen. That’s how simple it is to share your live streams in your stories! Now, the recording of your Live broadcast will continue to be broadcast for another 24 hours thanks to Instagram stories, which I say again. If you add these videos to the ‘highlights’ section, they will stay on your profile forever.

Section 9-2
Invite-Add Guests to Your Live Broadcast on Instagram

Instagram has recently brought another innovation to the live broadcast feature. Thanks to this innovation, other people can connect to your live broadcast.

This innovation works as follows: while you are broadcasting live, you can attract any of the viewers to this live broadcast in that second. To do this, all you have to do is press the “Add” button in the corner of the screen. When the viewer is added to the live broadcast, that girl or boy is added under the window you are in as a different window in your live broadcast.

The figure includes a participant who participated in an Instagram live broadcast. As you can see, a window appears at the bottom of the participant screen, occupying half of the screen. Knowing that it will happen this way, you can increase the interaction by adding people to an Instagram live broadcast.

Not only does it combine the Instagram live-streaming feature, increasing engagement (through reaching a larger user pool) of your broadcasting, but also opens the door to Instagram marketing campaigns where two businesses or influencers partner to promote a product (a business’s live-streaming from another. like adding the business)

Chapter 9-3
Using Instagram Live Streams for Commercial Purposes

If you’re planning to achieve bigger marketing goals on Instagram, it’s crucial to have a strategy, like increasing sales or increasing the number of people registered on your site.

Just like with Instagram stories, Instagram live streams are a comfortable place and a place where you can be as creative as you want! But although there is a lot to be creative about, it would be a better idea to implement a fixed game plan.

1. Introducing or launching new products or services

The latest commercial trend in Instagram livestreaming is using livestreaming to promote new products or new services. Why would not? It’s the perfect place to gather tons of praise or advice from people around your products! Whether you’re launching a new product line or looking to launch it for the future, the Instagram live streaming feature is a great place to catch the excitement in your business.

To use this strategy in your live broadcast, take your best-selling product with you and deliberately give people a little bit of information about it. With this you are creating a mystery and people are going crazy over it! Just after the trailer – the promo, tell viewers that they need to register on your website to learn more.

This approach will make your live video look like a special video, which will encourage people to take immediate action and increase the number of people you lead.

2. Run Q&As, workshops and tutorials to collect emails

There are currently tons of different formats that can be streamed during your live stream, such as Q&A, workshop streams, and tutorial videos. Each of these formats is truly invaluable in attracting tons of viewers to tons of viewers. But if you really want your company to benefit from Instagram livestream, you should use this livestream to collect people’s emails.

One of the best ways to do this is probably to ask your followers to send you questions via your email in advance. You can do this by sending a link to a homepage with an e-mail form to your followers (don’t forget to share this link before you start your live stream), or you can provide them with an e-mail address where they can write their questions and send them.

If you want to get information about e-mail marketing, you should definitely read our article!

Email Marketing 101: A Step-by-Step Email Marketing Guide

3. Support your sales and campaigns

Instagram stories are called temporary, right? But aren’t the live broadcasts you make on Instagram more temporary than these stories? This is exactly what you can take advantage of by creating an urgency in people’s minds to watch your live broadcasts.

One of the best ways to increase your view count is to do it live, by promising people that you’ll be running limited-time promotions. If you have a gift, discount, promotion or other campaign you want to give to a select few, announce it ahead of time! Also, don’t forget to share the coupon or discount code you have with your audience when you’re “live”.

Chapter 10
How to Use IGTV(Instagram Television) for Business ?

Although only a few months old, InstagramTV (IGTV) is already making waves in the social media world.

The first independent video platform of Instagram has been announced and put into use, IGTV offers companies, namely you, a new channel to increase your follower count, where you can promote your products and show people the creativity in these products.

And another great thing about IGTV is knowing that the videos you share don’t have to be flashy! You can also think of it as enhanced versions of Instagram stories, but you don’t have to be as perfect or curated as an Instagram post or video.

How to Start Making IGTV Videos

Before uploading videos to IGTV, you need to open an IGTV channel. The good news about this is that Instagram has made IGTV very, very simple and easy to use.

First, we sign up or log in to the IGTV application.

Secondly, we press the gear icon in the upper right corner and press the option to create a channel.

After your channel is live, you can now upload your first video to IGTV. To start uploading your first video, you should click on your profile picture and head to the page of the channel you opened from the main page you are on.

Then you press the “+” icon on the right side of your screen to upload a new video to your channel.

Now you can share the video you want to share vertically or horizontally, whichever way you recorded the video.

In terms of specs, Instagram recommends that vertical IGTV videos have a maximum size of 9:16 and a minimum size of 4:5, and horizontal videos a maximum size of 16:9 and a minimum 5:4 size.

Note: If your video doesn’t appear, it may have the wrong aspect ratio, check it!

Write your title and add a description. Just like on YouTube , you’ll want to add any relevant keywords to your description to make it easier for people to find your videos on IGTV.

You can also add links here! Yes that is right. On IGTV, people can actually click the links you share in the video descriptions and post them outside of Instagram.

And finally, add a cover photo! If you want, you can add your own cover photo or take a section from the video and make it the cover photo. The cover photo will be what will show your IGTV channel to the viewers in the IGTV categories, so the cover photo should capture the viewers!

For your cover photo, Instagram recommends 1:1.55 (or 420px 654px).

And that’s it! You can now upload your own vertical video on Instagram IGTV!

At the same time, you can share the video you uploaded to IGTV in your own story by pressing the airplane icon under the video you want to share and then pressing the “put this video in your story” option.

Now your viewers will have opportunities to watch promos of your IGTV videos by looking at your story.

What to Share on IGTV

Like Instagram Stories, there is no limit to what you can post on IGTV.

So far we’ve seen businesses use it to share how-tos and tutorials, promote their products, share company news, and much more.

The purpose of IGTV is to be like YouTube , not Netflix . That’s why so many influencers and trigger users have already entered the channel.

As a business, it’s important to think about the value perspective your videos can provide. How can you create value for your audience and how can you create value for your brand?

If you’re already a pro at using Instagram stories, switching to IGTV shouldn’t be too difficult for you. You can even think of IGTV as an extension or a replacement for your Instagram Stories. What style of voice, tone, and content do you share in your stories? Your IGTV video content should follow a similar path.

Tips for Making Perfect IGTV Videos

Because IGTV videos can be *very* long, it’s important to give yourself plenty of time to prepare, shoot, and edit your videos before jumping in. Here are some tips to get more out of the channel:

Get Comfortable With Vertical Video

Editing vertical videos can be tricky if you haven’t done it before! And probably the hardest thing about vertical video when shooting vertical video for IGTV is the aspect ratio.

The reason being vertical is hard is because unless your video is shot on a smartphone (which will usually be recorded at 9:16 if shot vertically), you may need to edit or crop the video after you shoot your video for proper performance. We’ll discuss the aspect ratio for IGTV a little further below.

The good news is you don’t need expensive software to edit your vertical videos, and there are several options for shooting vertically!

Also, IGTV now supports landscape videos, so you can always stick to that format if you prefer.

Browse Your IGTV Analytics

As IGTV is such a new format on Instagram, it can be really hard to tell how different audiences will respond to your videos, especially if you’re posting very long content.

That’s why it’s so important to take a look at your IGTV analytics, which can be accessed directly from your video.

Beyond Views, Likes and Comments, you can also see your audience retention; What I call this viewer retention rate is how many people watched your video until the end.

You can even see a pop-up chart showing from what point people stopped watching your video.

Metrics like this are invaluable when deciding what changes to make to your IGTV strategy. For example, you might agree that if viewers stop watching at 20 minutes, it’s a sign that creating videos longer than 20 minutes might not be a good strategy.

Chapter 11
Running a Marketing Campaign with an Influencer

Marketing via Influencer on Instagram is becoming one of the best ways for businesses to increase brand awareness, grow followers and increase sales – especially since Instagram’s algorithm continues to limit natural reach!

Haven’t you given Instagram Influencer marketing a shot yet? In this section, we’ll figure out how to find the right Influencer for your business, properly explain sponsored posts, and whether your influencer marketing strategies really work for you;

Chapter 11-1
Why Does Your Company Need An Instagram Influencer Marketing?

When it comes to Influencer marketing, Instagram is one of the best platforms for brands to collaborate with Influencers to reach new audiences quickly. In fact, with an average engagement rate of 3.21% (considering 1.5% across all social networks), it is the best performing channel for social action.

A big reason why Instagram influencer marketing is so effective is because it breaks down the barriers of traditional advertising and promotes your brand to a new audience with your influencer partner, your planned Influencer.

When a product or service is recommended on the channel, the influencer can create the feeling of a trusted recommendation from a friend.

In fact, 67% of marketers use an Instagram marketing strategy that also uses Influencer on Instagram for promotion – and we expect to see that number continue to rise as natural reach declines.

Chapter 11-2
So How Much Does It Cost to Marketing Through Instagram Influencer?

It is an undeniable fact that it has become indispensable for brand campaigns carried out with influencers on social media… Especially on Instagram! But how do you get a reasonable price when there are so many factors to consider?

The truth is, fees for influencer marketing vary widely between influencers.

According to our 2018 Instagram Marketing report, some players reported making between $5,000 and $10,000 per sponsored post. However, it is much more common for prices to be in the $250 to $1000 range.

Unfortunately, when it comes to how much it costs to market with influencers on Instagram, there is no single clear answer, an Instagram influencer has several factors that go far beyond followers.

Chapter 11-3
The Rise of Micro-Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing may have gained popularity thanks to Instagram, but you may not need thousands of dollars to invest in this trend.

So what exactly does micro-Influencer mean? Generally speaking, the term micro-Influencer refers to people who have not many but significant followers. This can be anything from 1,000 to 100,000 followers.

Even though Instagram Influencers have gained some kind of “celebrity status”, micro Influencers are more like everyday consumers. This is why they tend to be very relatable and trustworthy.

A great example is @ lauratully.co. Despite having over 3000 followers, he has partnered with multiple businesses and created many sponsored Instagram posts. This is due to their industry niche and they are trying to follow. As with everything in Instagram marketing, businesses can gain a lot by targeting niche audiences.

So what explains the increasing number of micro influencers?

One of the biggest benefits of working with Micro-Influencers is that they tend to engage with followers at a higher level compared to top Influencers. (According to recent studies, there appears to be a negative correlation between attendance rate and audience size).

This is why accounts of all sizes seem to be getting fewer likes, comments, and followers than in the past (thanks to the Instagram algorithm), while larger accounts are starting to get more.

So while accounts of all sizes are getting fewer likes, comments, and followers in general than they did in the past (thanks to the Instagram algorithm), bigger accounts seem to be taking a bigger hit.

But there’s also something to be said about how Influencers with different sized followers are perceived.

The truth is, Influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers often lead lives that aren’t exactly “normal”. And if you compare them to someone who has between 5,000 and 15,000 followers, who is too busy with their Instagram follower and is probably unable to pay their rent, investing money in Instagram sponsorships will start to become more appealing to the consumer every day.

So, when a micro-Influencer promotes a product on their channel, it might seem like a credible recommendation from a friend rather than a disingenuous advertisement.

Chapter 11-4
How to Find the Right Influencers for Your Business

Finding the right audience for your Instagram marketing campaign can be a huge challenge, but it will help you set clear goals. For example, if your goal is to get a lot of engagement, it might make sense to partner with micro-influencers who have smaller participants but higher engagement rates.

If your goal is to increase brand awareness, it would be more helpful to use metrics that engage a wider audience, such as transportation and traffic.

Not sure where to start? Here are four things to keep in mind when deciding whether to partner with an Instagram influencer:

1. Check Instagram engagements

When an influencer has a high engagement rate, it means that they grab the attention of their followers and take action on their content. That’s why many companies and social media agencies use business affiliation to assess who is an ideal influencer.

Generally, it is desirable to see an engagement rate of 2-3% on influencers’ posts. Posts with an excellent rate of 4-6% and more than 10% and 20% participation are considered “viral”.

2. Check Follower Quality

You need to collaborate with influencers that “attract” your target audience. For example, if you’re a fitness brand, it makes sense to partner with influencers who share similar audiences with your customers, like yoga instructors or powerlifters.

Collaborating with an influencer that “attracts” their customers is one of the best ways to stand out, increase brand awareness, and showcase their products creatively.

3. Check the Number of Followers

As I mentioned above, the number of followers an influencer has isn’t as important as it used to be – especially now the Instagram algorithm seems to be concerned with how many contributors large accounts affect.

As we learned last year, the engagement rate tends to decrease as the number of followers increases. Influencers with fewer followers generally maintain higher engagement rates for their posts, while influencers with large audiences tend to see lower engagement rates and less direct contact with their followers. As a result of all this, it’s not a bad idea to actually have great following with influencers! But you need to make sure they’re a good fit for your job.

4. Budgetary Requirements

Another thing to keep in mind when deciding which influencers to partner with is how demanding they are. According to our survey, it’s actually very common for businesses to “give away” products for free instead of paying a flat fee to impressive products. In fact, 77% of businesses report offering free products and/or services in exchange for sponsored posts.

However, this is not always the case. Some influencers only accept flat prices, while others are charged based on the sales or leads they create for the business.

Chapter 12
How to Get More Instagram Followers

Users accessed without ads are fewer, getting more followers on Instagram is harder than ever… but not impossible!

Increasing the number of Instagram followers involves a few things. Above all, you need to create high-quality content that will resonate with your target audience. You also need to expand your content to reach as many users as possible. Finally, you need to optimize your Instagram profile to encourage new visitors to tap the “Follow” button.

In this section, we will focus on step two: strategies for optimizing your content to reach a larger audience.

SECTION 12-1
Find The Right Hashtags For Your Company

Used correctly, this method can help you expand your reach on Instagram, attract more attention and attract more followers. However, to be successful with Hashtags, you have to be strategic about what hashtags you use and when.

The Most Popular Hashtag on Instagram is Hashtag used millions of times, but just adding popular Hashtags like #love, #happy or #dog to your post doesn’t mean you’ll get loads of likes or comments. Instead of using the most popular Instagram hashtags, it’s better to use top Instagram hashtags that have an engaging community behind them and are relevant to your target audience or business.

So how do you find these awesome, creative and community driven hashtags?

So it’s best to look at what hashtags your target audience, competitors, and industry leaders are already using. The narrower the scope of the hashtag, the more engaged the users in that scope. And you will be shocked how many beautiful hashtags you get!

For example, a Toronto-based coffee shop would like to use hashtags like #specialtycoffee (describes their business), #coffeeshopvibes (describes the purpose of their account), and #TOcoffee or #coffeelovers (describes their audience). Then you can add location-specific hashtags like #spadina, #chinatownTO, or even #toronto. You can also use Instagram hashtags that have a strong community around them, so instead of #coffee you can use a hashtag like #dailycortado, which has fewer messages but is more busy. For example, here’s Xiaomi’s post.

If you need help finding niche- and industry-specific hashtags,

You can check the Hashtag Suggestions feature. Hashtag suggestions work by automatically finding hashtags relevant to your post based on other hashtags you use.

For example, let’s say you’re sharing a photo of a beautiful bedroom to promote your business selling linens. All you have to do is know a relevant hashtag (like #livesimply) and then put it in Hashtag Suggestions,

Clicking on “recommendation” immediately generates 30 hashtags sorted by feature and relevance. Then you can choose and use any of these hashtags to add to your post. All you have to do is click “Add Hashtag” and it will already be added to the end of the title.

TIP: If you have an Instagram business account, you can check your Instagram Insights to see how many ads are coming from mixed hashtags . If you think the number is low, you should try adding different hashtags to see if it will increase it.

We’ll talk a little more about tracking your Instagram analytics in the next section.

Chapter 12-2
Make Instagram Stories Accessible For More Views

2018 was a huge year for Instagram Stories. For regular Instagram posts, as organic reach (ad-free reach) continues to decline, stories are predicted to become even more important for businesses to engage with their followers and stay in mind.

But did you know that Instagram Stories can help you become an Instagram follower?

Instagram Stories appear on the discover Instagram page; This means that even people who don’t follow you can find and follow your stories. And if they like what they see, they can follow you! This is a great reason to always try to make an active Instagram story.

However, in addition to appearing on the Explore page, your stories can also appear on Search pages for different locations and tags. As we wrote in an earlier section, most of Instagram’s geolocations and hashtags have stories of their own. Although this feature is an underutilized Instagram feature, we expect it to become more popular in the coming year as Instagram users become more comfortable watching and creating more stories.

Adding Hashtags to Instagram Stories:

Adding a hashtag to Instagram Stories is pretty easy. You can just type hashtag or you can use the hashtag tag to add the hashtag of your choice. When people search for hashtags on Instagram, if they’re popular enough, they can also watch an active, real-time Instagram story on the hashtag.

How to Add Location to Instagram Stories:

To add a place to your Instagram story, just click on the place tag and add the location of the story. In Instagram Stories, locations can be both cities, individual businesses, places to see, etc. works for

In this story, Can Bonomo both advertised the stage named “Dorock xl” (or the cafe, I don’t have much idea about Dorock xl) where he was and will give a concert, and gave us some information about where he was at that moment. People who love Can Bonomo have thought about going to this cafe (or the stage, I don’t know :/ ) if they have enough money and they are empty that night, and listen to the concert that evening. And some people even really left because of it.

For example, if you tag your story from the Golden Gate Bridge, your story will appear in the story results of both the “Golden Gate Bridge” and the overall “San Francisco”. You’ll usually get a notification from Instagram when your story is added to the Search page for a location. Also, when a photo or video in your story appears on a hashtag or location page, you can see the name of that page when you see who has seen your story.

CHAPTER 12
Boost Your Instagram Posts to Reach New Audiences

Instagram advertising may not be as popular as Facebook advertising, but with organic reach (ad-free, direct reach) declining on Instagram, investing in increasing Instagram posts this year is not a bad idea to gain Instagram followers.

Running your own Instagram ad campaign isn’t as difficult as it sounds, but it can be intimidating for many small business owners and influencers who haven’t done it before.

Fortunately, it is really easy to increase Instagram shares to increase Instagram followers!

On Instagram you don’t need to create complex ads like the ones on Facebook, all you have to do is create an Instagram post as you normally would and then hit the “promote” button when it goes live.

Already Instagram attracts a “look-alike audience” to which you can share a post, or you can easily create your own in the app by specifying an interest, age range, and genders you want to promote.

For example, if you’re posting a photo about a taco shop in Los Angeles that has been popular for thousands of years, you can make your post stand out for people in LA who are between the ages of 20 and 35 who are interested in tacos.

Make sure it targets “profile visits” and has an eye-catching image and an engaging headline. Your Instagram post looks the way you want it to, with the only difference being the “sponsored” display and call-to-action button at the top.

Start now with a small daily budget and run your ad for 1-2 days.

Instagram ads are a skill, so be prepared to tweak your boosted posts and viewers until you get the results you want!

Chapter 13
How to Track Your Instagram Insights

Now that we’ve introduced different strategies for getting more followers on Instagram, let’s take a look at how to track your performance. Instagram analytics is key to understanding your demographics, broadening your content, and evaluating your overall Instagram marketing performance – but all the different metrics and terms can be overwhelming.

In this section, we’ll guide you through the ins and outs of Instagram analytics, what each metric means, and how you can use this knowledge to improve your Instagram marketing:

CHAPTER 13-1
Why Instagram Analytics Matter?

Analyzing Instagram analytics isn’t just about figuring out which photo, video, or story performs best. By identifying and monitoring key metrics over time, you will be able to develop a solid content strategy for your Instagram account that is guaranteed to deliver better results for you.

It’s also important to look at how both individual posts and different types of content perform against each other.

For example, if you use Instagram to promote your online store, you’ll want to keep track of how your different product photos are performing.

Do photos with a light or dark background perform better? Does your target audience prefer city landscape photos or photos taken in nature?

Using engagement data like likes, comments, or clicks, you can tell which types of product shots are performing best so you know what you need to post more. From here, you can compare all your product shots with lifestyle content, for example, to determine which one your audience prefers.

Once you identify which product content your audience is most interested in, you may decide to invest more in product photos and put more emphasis on lifestyle photos. Regardless of which category your Instagram account falls into, focusing on Instagram analytics will allow you to better understand your audience’s wishes, improve your content, and ultimately drive better results with your Instagram marketing!

Chapter 13-2
How to Use Instagram Insights to Monitor Your Audience

Before getting into the trivial weight of content performance, it’s important to understand audience demographics – where the audience lives, how old they are, and when they’re most active on Instagram.

Fortunately, Instagram’s native analytics feature Insights makes it super easy to discover this information, and you can access it right from your app when you switch to an Instagram account!

Gender and Age Range

Instagram provides basic demographic information about your audience, including their gender and age range (plus age breakdown by gender). It’s a good idea to use this information in your content planning.

For example, if your target audience is younger, you might want to determine how often your posts are on their mobile devices and publish them accordingly. For example, analytics like this show the gender of users who follow your Instagram profile. If the gender ratio of the followers is so close to each other, it will be in your best interest to share posts that appeal to everyone, not according to gender.

Most Popular Destinations

Knowing the best places for your audience can help you improve your post sharing program, just as with a gender and age range breakdown.

While most of the audience is located in English-speaking countries, if you have a large audience in non-English-speaking locations, seek further analysis. You might want to consider setting your content strategy in a unique way that will get fewer copies.

You can also find out what time zone most of your users are in by viewing their most popular cities,

so you can help find the best time to post on Instagram. For example, in this analytics, it is seen that the use of Instagram is higher in Istanbul compared to other cities.

Thanks to this information, if you determine the location of the event as Istanbul and share the location of the event in your story with a sticker, your number of participants will be much higher than the number of participants in the events you will organize in other cities.

Because more people will be aware of your event and the more people are aware of the event, the more news of the event and the number of participants will increase.

Hours and Days

Beyond audience demographics, Instagram also offers information on the average days and days that followers are active on Instagram. For post sharing, this data is especially useful when determining what time of day and which days have the most engagement.

Keep in mind that these times don’t represent when your followers are likely to join your account – only when they’re most active on Instagram, it’s that clear. For example, the rate of people using Instagram on Wednesday is shown in the figure. It will be much better for you to post an Instagram post or an Instagram story that you will schedule according to these hours. A post you send around 12.00 noon or post around 9.00 in the morning will get more views and provide more interaction than a post you post at 21.00 in the morning.

Find Your Best Time to Post

You can show more interest in your Instagram posts by scheduling them to post later at your most convenient time.

Chapter 13-3
How to Watch Views, Reach, Engagement and More

Let’s take a look at Instagram’s content metrics and what each of them means. Within Instagram Insights , under the “content” heading, you can find tons of information about your content performance. You can sort this data by content type (photos, videos, carousel posts, and shopping posts) and by days, months, and years. For example, if you see in the data you receive with Instagram Insight that people show more interest in your stories than in the photos, you can change your strategy in this direction and start to get more interaction.

impressions

Impressions are the total number of views of the post. This view count also includes users who scroll, click on the business’s profile to view a photo, or view content directly via Instagram Direct Message.

Like impressions, reach is about the total number of views on your content, but this time it’s the number of unique views (unique users who viewed your content).

interactions

Engagements are the total number of likes, saves, or comments on the post. Note that not only Instagram but also the same user will count multiple comments; this can happen in gift situations where users tend to send it more than once to better their luck.

Engagement rate

Although Instagram Insights doesn’t include data on your engagement rate, it’s still a very important metric for Instagram marketing.

Engagement rate is the percentage of viewers/viewers who engage with your posts. In general, if you wanted to calculate the average engagement rate for Instagram, you would divide the number of likes and comments by the number of followers, which gives you a percentage.

Based on the post, you can take the total number of comments and likes you get, say 1200 and divide by your followers like 15,000 and then multiply by 100 to get your percentage. In this case, the participation rate for that task would be 8%.

Profile Visits and Followers

Instagram Insights will also tell you how many times your profile has been viewed and the number of accounts that started following you.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t include data on follower growth; it only shows the number of followers you have gained or lost over a certain period of time.

It is said that it is not very difficult to calculate this number by hand.

Also, there are already tertiary Instagram apps for this you can use to do this.

Speaking of tertiary Instagram apps, if you’re looking for a powerful and comprehensive Instagram analytics tool, you can check out Later’s new Instagram Analytics.

When you follow your account’s analysis with Later, you can easily review your information and apply the strategy you learned while making an Instagram posting plan.

For example, when you analyze that Instagram posts with some well-known people in it get more comments and engagement, you can immediately schedule more people-focused posts and apply it to your content strategy.

Tracking Instagram engagement rate is one of the best ways to determine what type of content will resonate best with your audience.

And once you identify what works best for your target audience, you can easily integrate more of that content into your strategy.

The Later Instagram Analytics app also tracks the metrics of up to 3 months of Instagram stories, so you can easily find information about your stories and optimize them to get more views, reach, replies and more!

For example, you can find out what times of the day your Instagram Stories get the most views and then schedule your future stories at those times.

Or you can review your analytics to find the most stories you need to post each day or week.

Chapter 13-4
Difference Between Photos, Videos and Scrolling Posts

As we mentioned above, you can publish your content metrics based on the content of your photos, videos, scrolling posts or shopping posts. But is there really a difference? While photos, videos, and scrolling posts all appear within the feed, users’ interactions with each type of content are vastly different and can affect performance.

Think of it this way: as you swipe your post, you can pretty quickly determine if you want to like a photo or not. However, you should take some time to load the content on the video and watch at least some of it to see if it interests you. If you are looking for a more accurate way to monitor the performance of your Instagram videos, you can use views.

Views tend to be calculated differently from platform to platform, but on Instagram, a view counts after 3 seconds and the v 30 second long video is the same as a Boomerang GIF or Hyperlapse video. So what if you don’t want your video’s likes to be counted? Enter the views. Now, view counts are calculated.

CHAPTER 13-5
Unique Measures for Instagram Stories

For the most part, the metrics for photos, videos, and Instagram Stories are calculated in the same way, but there are some differences. Compared to videos and photos, Instagram Stories require more active participation from users. A user needs to tap the story of your business at the top of the post to engage with the content; You can watch it in full here, tap it from start to finish, or scroll through stories entirely. Here’s a breakdown of Instagram Stories metrics:

Forward Kicks

Forward Hits is the number of times a viewer taps the right side of the screen to jump to the next story in line. Since a lot of people “speed up” watching their Instagram Stories, Backwards Pull Back, Next Story, and Exits are indicators of how your Stories are performing.

Back Kicks

Backstrokes are the number of times a viewer taps the left side of the screen to recapture the previous story. When a viewer taps backwards, it can mean that they think the content is worth watching again or grab their attention as they quickly scroll through their Story. If a post has a lot of backlash, you should note the type of content and test it and continue to have the same effect on your future post and story!

Next Story and Exits

Exits show how many times someone has passed through your story, while Next Story shows the number of times the next account’s story has been tapped. While these two metrics are similar, exits have less negative connotations.

For example, if someone leaves your story, it could mean that the audience is running out of time to watch the stories. Also, if you add a clickable link to your story, they can swipe to learn more.

Next Story is an indicator that the viewer has watched your story and wants to jump to the next one.

This data can help you determine how long your optimal Instagram Stories posts will be, whether it’s 3 slides or 13 slides.

Scroll Up

Instagram introduced the ability to add links to Instagram Stories last year, and it’s a pretty big deal. In fact, for the first time users can add links to non-link Instagram in their bio! (This feature is only available for Instagram business profiles with over 10,000 followers or verified profiles).

Story Answers

Similar to similar links for photos and videos, replies are the number of times someone directly replied to a part of your story. However, unlike comments on a photo or video, these replies come to your inbox and are not publicly visible. You Can Get More Views with Instagram Story Analysis.

Chapter 13-6
Choosing the Right KPIs (Key/Key Performance Indicator) for Your Instagram Marketing Strategy

Choosing the Right Performers for Your Instagram Marketing Strategy, now that you’re familiar with the different Instagram marketing metrics (and other free Instagram analytics tools), it’s time to go a step further and identify key performers.

A Performer ( KPI ) is a selected scale that specifically measures the success of your content or campaign. As discussed in Chapter 4, the Performers you define for your account ultimately depend on your business goals and what you want to achieve with your Instagram marketing.

If your business grows in the community, you may want to look into a job link as a Performer for photos and videos. However, if you boost a single post, you may want to change the Performer and focus on reach to see what impact your content has had on the Instagram community as a whole.

If you decide to give a contest or giveaway and you want users to leave comments, using Performance Indicators can be a great choice to look at reviews and determine how your contest will perform.

You can then use this metric as a way to compare the success of your progress by seeing which competition gets the most comments.

Regardless of the Performers, you should ideally focus on specific, regenerating content that does not die, and choose different content on a campaign-by-campaign basis.

Here, everything gets you closer to your overall Instagram marketing goals!

Chapter 14
Examples of Proven Instagram Marketing Campaigns

You can take Proven Instagram Marketing Campaigns as an example and you can create a similar campaign. Now that we’ve introduced different strategies for getting more followers on Instagram, let’s take a look at how to track your performance.

CHAPTER 14-1
Create an Instagram Hashtag Strategy

As we mentioned in the previous sections, Instagram hashtags became a controversial topic in 2017 thanks to the “Instagram shadowban” that hides and prevents users from appearing on the hashtags they use.

In the figure you can see milka’s Instagram strategy with the Patient. He placed his products using warm colors in a cold snowy environment, used a hasag for his products, and also used stickers to show the location where the photo was taken.

Despite this, hashtags are an effective way to get more eyes on your content, and building a solid Instagram hashtag strategy should also be a top priority for any business looking to get more involved with Instagram.

Thinking about hashtags is just as important as thinking about categories. Where do you want your Instagram posts to appear?

If you’re an e-commerce company that sells sunglasses, it makes sense to use relevant hashtags to appeal to Instagram users who might be interested in purchasing your products.

Besides that, Instagram’s algorithm favors the use of specific and relevant hashtags, especially with the ability to follow hashtags on Instagram. So instead of tagging posts with common hashtags like #love or #happy, choose hashtags that describe your business, your account purpose, your target market, and your location.

Chapter 14-2
Give an Instagram Contest or Gift

Running an Instagram contest or giveaway is a fun and easy way to promote your business and get featured on Instagram.

In the figure, we see that they shared the result of a competition made by Milka as a story. If you had entered this competition, wouldn’t you have a sense of urgency for the stories these winners were announced? If I had really been interested in the competition and had participated in it, it would certainly have created a sense of urgency to see the winners. I could even check the stories on the day of the competition’s announcement. At the same time, your number of followers will increase thanks to the people who are tagged with these stories or the people who see this page. Even if there is no significant increase in the number of followers, it is certain that you will stay in people’s minds for a while because you interact with more people.

If you’re looking for an effective Instagram contest idea, you can try partnering with another business or influencer.

Instagram is a great way to promote your contest to your audience and share each other’s followers. Start by looking for a suitable job to partner with you and then arrange a 3-5 day gift where Instagram users get rewards by following both accounts and their friends are tagged in the comments.

Here’s a brief breakdown of our proven Instagram contest formula:
  1. Partner with a brand or influencer with a similar target marketing and audience
  2. Choose a reward that will excite your audience
  3. If you’re partnering with an influencer, have them host the contest on their account (if you’re partnering with a brand, you can choose the best account to host the contest)
  4. Create clear rules:

Follow @youraccount and @yourpartner to participate and mention X# of your friends in a comment

  1. Make your competitions short:

5 days maximum, ideally 2-3 days

Once the Instagram contest is over and you’ve chosen a winner or winner, you should see a huge boost in your Instagram followers – but that doesn’t mean you’re done! You need to take care of your new followers and make them feel like part of your community. Otherwise, you risk losing them.

SECTION 14-3
Use Instagram Live to Highlight New Products and/or Services

It’s understandable that many businesses are hesitant at first to use Instagram Live.

The idea of being “alive” on Instagram is daunting to many. While Instagram Stories gives you the option to post pre-recorded video, there’s no “replay” on Instagram Live. But the truth is that Instagram Live is of great value to businesses. Used correctly, this feature can be an incredible channel for achieving your bigger business goals, along with new followers and engagement.

Let’s take a look at the protein-packed Burçak product released by Eti, here. She shared a story that measured which flavor the users liked the most. They will continue to develop this product according to the ratio of the answers to this story and the answers given in the story.

Therefore, there have been a number of business trends using the channel to develop or launch new products.

For a live streaming strategy, take your newest product and deliberately publish little detail. You can do this for a few days or even a few weeks. Either way, the mystery will make your followers seriously intrigued! After the promotion, ask viewers to sign up for more information on your website. This approach gives your live video an edge that encourages people to take action right away and increase your leads. You can share your Instagram Live feed on your Instagram Stories to increase your reach! Tap the “Share” button that appears when your broadcast is finished. Your live stream will be broadcast on your Instagram Stories for 24 hours unless you decide to add it to the featured stories.

We’re almost done! So far, you’ve learned how to optimize your Instagram profile, how to use Instagram stories for your business, how to increase your Instagram followers, and many more.

In order not to ruin things, I will give you 3 tips that I think need to be done so that you can better manage your Instagram marketing strategy.

Chapter 15.
Be Careful To Post Your Posts When Your Follower Is Most Active

To get the most engagement on Instagram in 2019, you need to share your posts at the best times. The Later.com website analyzed the multi-time posts of users with 100 to 1 million followers around the world. This number equated to 12 million Instagram posts in total .

Here is the combined version of the 3 best tables (shown according to the eastern standard time) that show the most active days of the week and at what time intervals the Instagram users created as a result of this analysis:

Here is the data they found in their research, the posts shared during the times seen in the graph received much more interaction than at other times, the best thing you should do right now is to find out when your own audience is more active and send your posts at that time interval, so this graph to yourself. It’s up to you to personalize it.

Timelines have always been an important factor in Instagram’s algorithm, but with the new algorithm updates, when you post to Instagram is more important than ever!

In early 2018, Instagram announced that they would update their algorithm to be more chronological, and they said “you will now be able to see posts in a timed manner”.

As a result, if you want to beat Instagram’s algorithm in 2019, you will have to schedule when you will share your Instagram posts according to what time periods your audience is more active.

Think of it this way: Ever since Instagram users started prioritizing showing newly shared posts on the discover page, the best thing you can do is to throw away your content when your followers are most active, i.e. when they’re actively swiping down on the app.

That’s why personalizing the graphic I gave above according to when your followers are active and posting your posts accordingly, hacking the Instagram algorithm and increasing the number of interactions you have with people means that you get more likes and increase the number of followers.

Chapter 15-1
Return to Followers on Instagram, Reply

Do you know?
80% of customers on social media cannot get answers to their questions.

88% of customers or people who will become customers do not buy the products of companies that do not answer the questions asked about the products on social media, and 30% turn to another company that is a competitor to this company after not getting an answer.

The truth is, answering customer social questions isn’t just about good manners – it’s about growing your business.

Of course, we understand how difficult it is to keep track of your Instagram comments. It’s easy to miss comments on the Instagram app, especially if someone is commenting on an old post.

A great way to do this is with the innovation of speaking later. With Conversations, you can view all of your latest Instagram comments in a post on your desktop computer. You can also reply from your computer instead of your phone and view your conversation history with a commenter.

It is an excellent tool for providing customer service and improving response times with Instagram comments.

In the event of a customer complaint, social teams can view the full history of conversations with a customer, provide an in-depth response from their desktop computer, and immediately respond to Instagram comments.

Remember, while responding to a follower or client on Instagram may seem like a small thing to you, it can mean a lot to them. Plus, there’s no better way to connect with your followers than by actively engaging them.

Chapter 15-2
Schedule Your Instagram Posts

All business owners know that time is money. And if you want to make better use of that precious commodity, it might make sense to use the free app, the Instagram post scheduler.

Just think about it. Would you rather take 30 minutes each day to scroll through your photos, find one that fits your Instagram aesthetic, and come up with a witty caption   ? Or   would you rather devote 1-2 hours in a week to schedule all of your Instagram hours to be throughout the week?

3 more reasons to schedule your Instagram posts

1. Install Instagram Posts Feature on Your Computer

If you are using a camera to take your Instagram photos, you are probably editing these programs on your computer.

Using Instagram scheduler will automatically upload your Instagram posts from your desktop and save you a lot of time, not to mention the torture of throwing the photos you want to take from the computer to the phone…

And think about what you could do with all the time you saved! Whether with your Instagram hash strategy, Instagram contests or sweepstakes, or toning your Instagram stories strategy properly, as you do these, the places you want to reach, the places you can reach are increasing and you can focus more on reaching your bigger company goals in all the time you earn by using an Instagram planner!

2. Use Better Instagram Captions

Coming up with better Instagram captions is a difficult situation for anyone. But this is made more difficult by the fact that every single title you write now evaporates daily.

With these new content ideas, hashtags and titles that should be used appropriately, it is starting to become more frequent and more time-consuming. In order to do these, you have to enter creative mode each time, sit down at your desk and write for each of them one by one.

By writing your Instagram captions ahead of time, you can relieve yourself of daily stress and devote your time and energy to other important tasks such as engaging your audience and building deeper connections with your followers.

Using an Instagram timer can also help your Instagram hashtag strategy.

With the Captions Saved Later feature, you can create templates of your most frequently used hashtags. When it’s time to schedule, you can choose one of your Saved Titles to add to your broadcast.

This not only reduces the time you spend writing your hashtags and headlines, but also increases the engagement of your posts.

Also, since the Instagram algorithm favors posts with specific and relevant hashtags, it’s a great strategy to create and replace multiple saved captions based on what you’re posting with different hashtag blocks.

3. Plan an Amazing Instagram Feed
