What are Instagram Reels. How Is It Used?

The new bomb of Instagram , which left its mark on 2021 and seems to continue to maintain its popularity in the coming years : Instagram Reels.

What exactly are Instagram spools, how to pull them, how to use them and what should be paid attention to?

We have prepared a great guide to using Instagram reel for you.

What is Instagram Real?

A new way to save 15 to 30 second clips set with music on Instagram.

If the reels seem familiar to you, you’ve probably seen the new tab in the middle of the Instagram navigation bar.

Since this feature came to the fore, everyone started mixing Tik Tok videos with Instagram real videos.

So what are Instagram Reels and how can you use them in your marketing strategy? In this article, you can find answers to all the questions you may have about Instagram real videos.

Instagram Reels is a brand new way to create fun and engaging video content.

This latest video feature of Instagram is available in 50 countries, including the United States and other countries.

Similar to Tiktok, Instagram users can record and edit 15 to 30 second video clips set to music together.
You can share them in their Stories, in the Explore Feed, and in the new Reels tab on the user’s profile.

With the latest app update, you can now find Instagram Reels at the forefront of Instagram – making it the centerpiece of the new main navigation bar.

This is a big change to the app and a major push for users to browse and share the Reels more often.

Instagram has defined the Reels tab as “a place where you can watch short, funny videos, to help them be discovered by new viewers”.
On the Reels tab, you will also see popular and trending accounts.

Instagram Real vs TikTok

According to Instagram, “This tab will provide a deep and immersive Reels experience with auto-play videos and a creation entry point that opens directly to the Reels camera.”

In addition to seeing Reels in the new Reels tab, you can also find Reels on the Explore page.

While the reels algorithm isn’t locked yet, it feels similar to the TikTok For You page. It is probably influenced by who you already follow, what content you engage with, and where you are.

As you scroll, you may notice that some Reels have a “Featured” label above the title. According to Instagram, “If your real video gets featured, you’ll get a notification.

Featured reel videos are a selection of public videos selected by Instagram to help you discover original content that we hope will entertain and inspire you.

” And just like TikTok, if you find a song or audio clip you like, you can tap the music and select “Use Audio”.

Note: Instagram Reels music feature may not work for all Instagram accounts.

If you find that your account does not have the music feature, do not panic! Record your own music and voice or edit your video outside of Instagram Reels.

Besides selecting and adding music, there are a number of useful video editing tools to explore.

Like the option to trim and delete video clips, a video countdown timer, the option to adjust the speed of your video, and a library of video effects to choose from.

When creating an Instagram reel video, you can choose to shoot video clips in place or upload them from your camera roll.

When you are satisfied with the clips, you can use the drawing and text tools. You can also use Instagram stickers.

Why did Instagram remove reels videos?

If you think most of the features look very familiar, that’s no coincidence.

The actual videos are a direct response to the growing popularity of Tik Tok, which has been growing in popularity over the past 12 months.

According to Adweek, TikTok had “the most downloads ever for any app in a quarter” in 2020. And TikTok’s core demographic is rapidly changing.

Once dominated by Gen-Z users, Millennials now make up a larger share of TikTok’s user base than ever before – making the platform a much more attractive proposition for advertisers.

So it’s no surprise that Instagram is making moves to replicate TikTok’s most popular features – especially in regions where TikTok doesn’t have a strong foothold like Brazil.

In fact, this isn’t the first time Facebook, the parent company of Instagram, has tried to launch a TikTok alternative.

Facebook previously launched a short-form standalone app, Lasso, but has yet to come out.

However, reels may have a much higher chance of success, thanks to its prime positioning on the Instagram app and all the exposure and familiarity that comes with it.

IGTV has found its positioning as series-based content that viewers can tune into each episode with their favorite brands.

However, with Micros, it fills the void of high-quality content that is still unofficial but has a shelf life of more than 24 hours.

A more dynamic and creative opportunity to showcase more of your personality and brand.

There are currently over 1 billion active users on Instagram, and if we’ve learned anything from the introduction of Instagram Stories, Instagram knows how to successfully copy a tried and tested format.
